Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to questions we hear from businesses considering automation.
It depends on the stack that fits your business. Open-source tools like n8n and Ollama have no licensing fees at all. Cloud AI services like Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, and Claude are subscriptions you purchase directly from those vendors, and we help you choose the right plan so you only pay for seats you'll actually use. Either way, we don't resell licenses or earn commissions, so our recommendation is based on what fits you, and there are never surprise fees from us.
That depends on the tools we choose together, and we're upfront about it. Open-source deployments (n8n, Ollama) run entirely on your network or your own cloud account. Cloud AI services like Copilot, ChatGPT, and Claude process data on the vendor's servers under their business data protections. Part of every engagement, including the AI Readiness Kit, is mapping which of your data is appropriate for which service, so nothing sensitive ends up somewhere it shouldn't. Your data never goes to our servers.
The first 30-60 days include support. After that, you can pick up a maintenance plan or request ad-hoc work on a project basis. We'll provide a quote for any changes or new automations you need.
Yes. Additional workflows can be added individually or as part of a maintenance retainer. Many of our clients start with one workflow and expand over time as they see the value of automation in their business.
Yes. We deliver remotely nationwide. Local businesses in the Red Wing/Rochester/Winona corridor also get on-site support options. Remote collaboration works great for scoping, building, and training, and we can arrange in-person visits for larger deployments if needed.
